Last year I took a cooking class at Stonewall Kitchen with my mother-in-law and at the very end of the session they served this great little dessert. It tasted so rich and was topped with a lovely tangerine vinegar. I couldn’t wait to see what steps were involved to making this wonderfully citrus dessert. Combine and puree, that’s it folks!
Sweet and Sour Orange Sorbet
Ingredients
Combine the oranges, juice, and sugar in a food processor and puree.
Place the mixture in a shallow pan or zipper sealed bags and freeze for 2 to 3 hours.
Just before serving, process again to make a smooth sorbet. Serve in dessert bowls with a touch of orange vinegar.
