Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bread

Ingredients

• Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bread~
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 t baking powder
• 1/2 t baking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
• 2 t vanilla extract
• 1 cup mini chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
• 1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
• Grease bottom and 1-inch up the sides of two 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pans
• Set aside
• In a medium bowl combine, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
• Set aside
• In a very large bowl beat peanut butter and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for
• 30 seconds, or until combined
• Add the sugars; beat on medium speed until light and fluffy
• Beat in eggs, one at a time
• Combine buttermilk and vanilla
• Add buttermilk mixture and flour mixture alternately to peanut butter mixture
• Stir in mini chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and chopped dry roasted peanuts
• Divide batter evenly between pans
• Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. (some melted chocolate may stick to toothpick)
