Herbed Dip
This is my favourite low calorie, fat free, savoury, all purpose dip. You can use it on baked potatoes or as a chip dip or as a dip for fresh vegetables. Ingredients
- 8 oz (250 ml) plain, natural, low fat yogourt (or greek yogourt if you prefer a not so light version)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp dill weed, dried
- 1/4 tsp oregano, dried
- 1/4 tsp basil, dried
- 1/2 tsp chives, dried
- 1/2 tsp parsley, dried
- 1/2 tsp marjoram, dried
- Dash of salt
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Chilll for several hours. Serve as a dip with freshly cut vegetables, on a baked potato, with toasted pita bread triangles, crackers, tortilla chips.
