Harvest Vegetable Turkey Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd turkey
- 1 can tomatoes, cut up (1 pt. or possibly 1 lb.)
- 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 3 c. water
- 3 beef or possibly chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed oregano leaves
- 1 c. frzn green beans
Directions
- Brown grnd turkey in 3 qt Dutch oven or possibly kettle. Drain off excess fat. Add in vegetables, water, bouillon cubes, pepper and oregano. Salt to taste. Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 min. Add in green beans and simmer 15 min more. Serves six.
