  • Grecian Skillet Rib Eyes

    Ingredients

    • 2 x well-trimmed 1"-thk beef rib eye steaks - (approx 1 lb total)
    • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon Juice
    • 2 Tbsp. crumbled feta cheese
    • 1 Tbsp. minced pitted Kalamata or possibly ripe olives
    • 1 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
    • 1 1/2 tsp dry basil leaves crushed
    • 1 1/2 tsp dry oregano leaves crushed
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

    Directions

    1. Combine seasoning ingredients; press into both sides of beef steaks. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat till warm. Place steaks in skillet; cook approximately 10 to 14 min for medium-rare to medium doneness, turning once. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
    2. To serve sprinkle cheese and olives over steaks; garnish as desired.
