  • Creamy Green Bean Casserole

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 c. Margarine
    • 2 c. Kellogg's CORN FLAKES
    • 2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 1/4 tsp Pepper
    • 1 tsp Sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp Onion pwdr
    • 1 c. Low-fat lowfat sour cream
    • 1 pkt (20 ounce.) French-style Green beans, cooked and liquid removed
    • 1 c. (4 ounce.) Shredded low-fat Swiss cheese

    Directions

    1. 1. In large saucepan, heat margarine over low heat. Remove 2 Tbsp. and mix with KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES (crushed, approx 1 1/2 c.) cereal. Set aside for topping.
    2. 2. To remaining margarine in pan, stir in flour, salt, pepper, sugar and onion pwdr. Gradually stir in lowfat sour cream. Mix in green beans. Pour into 10 x 6 x 2-inch (1 1/2-qt) glass baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle cheese and cereal mix over casserole.
    3. 3. Bake at 400 F for 20 min or possibly till thoroughly heated.
