Baked Pumpkin Donuts with Vanilla Glaze #Donutday

These baked pumpkin donuts topped with a vanilla glaze are the perfect breakfast or afternoon snack. They are so much better for you because they are baked not fried.

I am not sure if I mentioned it, but I joined this Facebook group called Random Food Holidays. Today is donut day, and I could not be happier.

Did I mention I love donuts?

I think of Krispy Kreme as crack. Sometimes the hubbie brings home a whole dozen doughnuts and I eat them all.

So when we took a trip to North Carolina, I found a doughnut pan for cheap and bought it. The whole time I kept thinking about what kind of donut I was going to make. The possibilities are endless.

At first I was not sure what I should make, I just knew I wanted a glaze on top.

This time of year it all about Pumpkin. Pumpkin is everywhere. So I decided to make a Pumpkin donut. It tasted really good. Almost as good as Krispy Kreme. These are baked and they remind me of the plain cake donuts you find at Wawa and 7-11. They are a bit better for you than the ones that are deep fried.
