    A tasty hot drink made with white chocolate.

    Ingredients

    • 4 T. heavy cream
    • 7 ½ c. milk
    • 6 oz. white chocolate
    • 2 tsp. instant coffee
    • 2 tsp. cognac
    • 1 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg

    Directions

    1. Whisk the heavy cream with an electric whisk until thickened. Set aside.
    2. Pour the milk into a medium pan and bring to just below boiling point, then remove from the heat. Meanwhile, finely chop the chocolate.
    3. Whisk the chocolate, instant coffee and cognac into the milk and continue to whisk until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
    4. Pour the mixture into 4 warmed glasses or mugs. Top each with a spoonful of the whipped cream, sprinkle with the nutmeg, and serve immediately.
