As you probably know by now Dominicans make rice out of everything! Today’s rice is delicious and nutritious. Just like herring rice and sardine rice is rich in Omega fatty acids, so it’s also good for your hearts! If we add to it, that it’s so easy to make, we’re talking about an almost perfect meal! LOL!
tuna rice
Ingredients
4 cups rice.
4 cups water.
1 Cubanela or green pepper.
½ Carrot.
Chives, Coriander and salt.
1 bouillon cube.
1 tsp. saffron.

Directions
Stir fry the ingredients (minus the tuna)
Give it a few minutes and add the water. When it boils add the rice and allow to cook while moving until it dries. When it does, add the tuna, mix well, lower the fire, cover and allow to cook for ½ hour. We add the tuna at the end to prevent it from coming apart. Serve with a slice of avocado and you’ll be as Dominican as can be!
