  • Texas Potato Wedges

    This versatile entree can be served as a side dish or an appetizer -they're zesty, but not too spicy

    Ingredients

    • 6 large potatoes
    • 1 egg
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 1 -1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 -1/2 teaspoons paprika
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon each dried thyme basil, oregano and chili powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

    Directions

    1. Slice unpeeled potatoes into wedges (12-14 per potato).
    2. In a small bowl, beat egg and milk.
    3. In another bowl, combine flour and seasonings.
    4. Dip potato wedges into milk mixture; dust with flour mixture.
    5. Place in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet.
    6. Drizzle with oil.
    7. Bake at 450° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
