Strawberries Filling

Take 8 or 10 strawberries. Slice and reserve.
Place a handful of strawberries in a small bowl.
Using a potato masher, mash strawberries.
Add 1 tbs of lemon juice, sugar and cornstarch.
Add 2 tbs of water and stir.
Transfer to a small saucepan, and cook at low heat stirring constantly.
When sauce has thickened, remove from heat. Let it cool.
Add the reserved strawberry slices into the sauce and stir.
Fill cake.
