Stir Fry Buttered Veggies
A very easy and healthy vegetarian dish. Ingredients
- 1/4 kilo sweet beans
- 1 piece big carrot
- 2 pieces medium bell peppers (red and green)
- 1 piece big chayote (sayote)
- half a stick of unsalted butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Melt the butter large wok, or a non-stick pan.
- Add the veggies all at the same time just right before the butter totally melts.
- Stir fry the veggies every now and then to avoid burning the butter.
- Cook up to your liking. Some like it crispy; cook it a bit longer if you want the veggies softer.
- Season before turning the heat off.
- Sprinkle with chopped spring onions before serving (optional)
