    Spicy Oven Roasted Chickpeas

Let me start of by saying that I have rarely sang the praise about something so healthy and so addictive.

I must admit when I tried this recipe, I was a bit skeptical. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t dislike garbanzo beans. I just wasn’t in love with them. I always thought they were great in salads and humus, but other than that I thought they were a bit bland.

Until now! I roasted these puppies in the oven and boy are they good! You know the slogan Lays potato chips had? It went something like, you can’t eat just one? Well these are exactly like that. The fact that they are good for you just blows my mind. They are the perfect combination of salt, crunchy and spicy.

Now keep in mind this creole seasoning can be a bit spicy for the person who is not used to that sort of thing. I would just add a little and then if you think you can handle the heat then by all means add more.
