    This is another mouthwatering Indian snack recipe with a calories below 100. Chickpeas have very high nutritional value and are great as a movie or evening snack.Thsi is not only healthy but also very tasty.

    Ingredients

    • 2 Cups boiled and drained chickpeas or 2 canned chickpeas drained
    • 2 tbsp lemon juice
    • 1/4th handful each of Arugula and baby spinach leaves
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
    • 1/4 cup freshly grated carrot
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
    • salt and white pepper powder to taste
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
    • 1/4 cup sweet fresh pomegranate seeds
    • Dry roasted pumpkin seeds or pine nuts for crunch(optional)

    Directions

    1. In a large bowl,Put the chickpeas,and then add all the other ingredients to it.
    2. You can add the dry roasted nuts or seeds if you wish for some crunch.
    3. Give it a good mix and serve with a small bowl of corn chips on the side and some iced tea for a great summer snack.
