Shrimp With Peppers And Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 lb unpeeled large fresh shrimp
- 1 tsp curry pwdr divided
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil divided
- 1 med red bell pepper cut thin strips
- 1 med green bell pepper cut thin strips
- 1 sm purple onion cut thin strips
- 2 Tbsp. brandy
- 3 Tbsp. teriyaki marinade and sauce
- 8 ounce fettuccine cooked
Directions
- Peel shrimp, and devein, if you like. Combine shrimp and 1/2 tsp. curry pwdr, tossing gently. Saute/fry shrimp in 2 Tbsp. warm oil in a large skillet 2 min or possibly just till pink. Remove from skillet.
- Saute/fry peppers, onion, and remaining 1/2 tsp. curry pwdr in remaining 2 Tbsp. oil in skillet till tender. Add in shrimp, brandy, and teriyaki marinade. Cook till thoroughly heated, stirring to loosen browned particles. Toss with pasta, and serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
- Comments: Subtly flavor pasta by cooking it in water seasoned with herbs.
