You can have it with plain or jeera rice and it can also be consumed with rice or roti .Prep Time20 minsCook Time20 minsCourse: Main CourseCuisine: Indian, North IndianKeyword: Dosa Side dish, paneerIngredients for Shahi Paneer500 g Paneer cubed + 4 tblsp, grated2 Onion chopped1 inch Ginger finely chopped3 to 4 Green Chillies finely chopped6 to 8 Tomatoes finely chopped (depending on size)3 Cardamoms crushed1/2 cup Curd beaten1 tsp Red Chilli Powder5 to 6 tblsp Ghee1 tsp Garam Masala Powder1 cup Cream (or Milk)4 tblsp Tomato Saucehandful Coriander Leaves choppedas per taste SaltHow to make Shahi PaneerHeat 3 tblsp of ghee in a pan.Saute the onions, ginger, green chillies and cardamoms for 4 to 5 minutes.Add the tomatoes and cover the pan with a lid.Cook for 8 to 10 minutes.Add the beaten curd and cook for another 5 minutes.Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of water and cook for a minute.Remove and transfer to a mixer jar.Blend till smooth and keep aside.Heat the remaining ghee in another pan.Add the ground gravy along with red chilli powder, garam masala powder, tomato sauce and salt.Bring to a boil or till the gravy turns thick.Add the paneer cubes and cream.Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.Garnish with coriander leaves and grated paneer.Remove and serve hot.NotesIn some places, capsicum is also added.
