    Hershey's Holiday Favorites Great for Christmas Parties

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 cups miniature marshmallows
    • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or
    • semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
    • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
    • 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt

    Directions

    1. Heat oven to 350 F
    2. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
    3. Stir together the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and the nuts
    4. Set aside
    5. Place the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl
    6. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until melted
    7. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla
    8. Beat well using a wooden spoon until well blended.
    9. Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt
    10. Blend well
    11. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
    12. Bake for 22 minutes
    13. Sprinkle the chocolate chip mixture over the top
    14. Continue baking for 5 minutes or until the marshmallows have softened and have puffed slightly
    15. Cool completely
    16. Using a wet knife, cut into squares
