Rocky Road Brownies
Wilton Brownie Fun Ingredients
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups (9 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
- 3/4 cup granulated usgar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts, divided
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Spray 8 x 2 inch or 9 x 2 inch square pan with vegetable pan spray.
- In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and the salt.
- In a large microwave safe bowl, melt the butter with 1 cup of the chocolate chips
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla
- Add the flour mixture
- Stir until just combined
- Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips and the 1/4 cup peanuts
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
- Sprinkle with the marshmallows
- Broil until the marshmallows are golden brown, about 1-2 minutes
- Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup peanuts
- Drizzle with the melted chocolate
