  • Roasted Mushroom with Thyme, Garlic and Butter Recipe

    This is nice side dish or appetizer. We also have this as nibbles when having drinks :)

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 kilo button mushrooms, cleaned
    • 1 tbsp Canola oil
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp thyme, chopped/or dried is fine
    • 1 tbsp lemon/calamansi juice
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Oil a shallow non-stick pan with canola oil.
    2. Saute mushrooms in and add salt and pepper. Mix well.
    3. Place on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in a preheated 400F/200C oven until they start to caramelize, about 20 minutes, mixing half way through.
    4. Melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to brown.
    5. Remove from heat and mix in the garlic, thyme and lemon juice.
    6. Toss the roasted mushrooms in the butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.
    7. Serve hot or even on a sizzling plate!
