There is no easier dessert recipe around the world than this Puff Pastry with Nutella! The easy recipes on this blog are always from my husband, Yusuf. These puff pastry coins topped with nutella are no exception. This is absolutely the easiest sweet treat ever! Well, maybe the second easiest one. Remember the Chocolate Puff Pastry Rolls I shared here a while ago? They were so easy too! Yusuf was inspired by those rolls and made these coins.

Puff pastry with nutella is always a winner both for kids and for adults. There is no age limit for these crispy and sweet coins! The good news is that you don’t need any special ingredient or talent for these mini sweet snacks. Everyone can make this foolproof recipe! It’s fun to make the coins, so you should involve your kids too!

Nutella makes anything more appealing, so it doesn’t need anything special. This is the idea behind Puff Pastry with Nutella. You can shape the pastry dough as you like. We wanted to make them in bite size coins so that they can be served as snacks.

We used regular puff pastry squares to make these coins. Wait them at room temperature and let them thaw. And cut coins from squares either with a small water glass or with a cookie cutter. Bake them in oven until golden. You will see how they rise and become fluffy just after some minutes. Let them reach room temperature and top with nutella.

We don’t fill them with nutella before baking this time, which makes things even easier. Just spread a little nutella on them just like you do on a slice of bread. These are best on the day they are made, so I advise you to make them in small numbers not to have leftovers.

Puff pastry with nutella will become your favorite and you won’t want to buy packaged sweet snacks from market any more! The sound of these crispy sweet coins when you bite is to die for!

This is not a real recipe since both ingredients are store bought, but let me share how to combine these two to have this result. This could even give you an inspiration to create another version of puff pastry with nutella. Who knows?
