- 2 cups water
- 1 TBSP butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup long grain rice
- Bring the water, butter and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in the rice, reduce heat to medium low and cover the saucepan with a tight fitting lid.
- Cook until rice is tender and all the water is absorbed.
- 15-20 minutes.
