Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 TBSP butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup long grain rice

Directions

  1. Bring the water, butter and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the rice, reduce heat to medium low and cover the saucepan with a tight fitting lid.
  3. Cook until rice is tender and all the water is absorbed.
  4. 15-20 minutes.
