Nutty Maple Pie
Gooseberry Patch - Cathy Hillier Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup whole hazelnuts, chopped
- 9-inch pie crust
Directions
- Combine the sugar, butter, eggs, maple syrup, and the hazelnuts.
- Pour into the pie crust.
- Bake at 400 F for 10 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to 325 F.
- Bake an additional 25 minutes
