Mud Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 eggs (beaten 1 at a time)
- 1/4 cup Dutch-process cocoa
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup Dutch-process cocoa
- 1 (5 oz.) evaporated milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
Directions
- Brownie: Beat margarine, butter, eggs, cocoa, syrup and flour.
- Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 27 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Frosting: Beat margarine, butter, cocoa, evaporated milk, vanilla extract and honey until smooth. Fold in cool whip.
- Spread over the brownies.
- Decorate.
