Mom's Crab Dip
Ingredients
- 1 lb crab meat
- 16 ounce cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic Pwdr
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1/8 c. horseradish (or possibly to taste)
Directions
- Leave cream cheese out to soften for about 30 minutes. Don't let it get hot. In a bowl, take all ingredients, save 1/4 c. crabmeat, and blend together using a fork. Spread this in flat serving dish (I use a glass pie plate) Top with sauce:
- Squeeze juice of lemon wedge over the top. Provide small spreader and serve with crackers. WONDERFUL with white wine.
- Serves 6-8 for appetizers....or possibly 2 for supper.
