Mexican Lasagne
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can refried beans
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 3/4 tsp garlic salt
- 2 1/2 Cup water
- 1 jar Picante sauce hot or mild depends on your taste
- 16oz sour cream tub< You may want to buy larger tub to add on top as you serve>
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 can 2.2oz sliced black olives
- 1 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese
- 1 box uncooked lasagne noodles
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Combine beef, oregano, cumin and garlic salt and beans.
- Place 4 lasagne noodles in a 13x9x2 pan. Then spread 1/3 beef mixture over noodles repeat until noodles are all gone.
- Combine water and picante and pour over the noodles. Cover pan lightly with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until noodles are tender. Combine sour cream, onions, olives. Spoon over casserole, top with cheese. Bake uncovered until cheese is melted approx 5-10 minutes.
