  • Mexican Lasagne

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 can refried beans
    • 2 tsp Oregano
    • 1 tsp Cumin
    • 3/4 tsp garlic salt
    • 2 1/2 Cup water
    • 1 jar Picante sauce hot or mild depends on your taste
    • 16oz sour cream tub< You may want to buy larger tub to add on top as you serve>
    • 3/4 cup chopped onion
    • 1 can 2.2oz sliced black olives
    • 1 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese
    • 1 box uncooked lasagne noodles

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350.
    2. Combine beef, oregano, cumin and garlic salt and beans.
    3. Place 4 lasagne noodles in a 13x9x2 pan. Then spread 1/3 beef mixture over noodles repeat until noodles are all gone.
    4. Combine water and picante and pour over the noodles. Cover pan lightly with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until noodles are tender. Combine sour cream, onions, olives. Spoon over casserole, top with cheese. Bake uncovered until cheese is melted approx 5-10 minutes.
