  • Hot 'N Spicy Beef Steaks

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 lb Beef chuck eye steaks, boneless, cut 1" thick
    • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil,
    • 1 tsp Chili pwdr,
    • 2 cl Garlic cloves, chopped
    • 1/2 tsp Oregano leaves, dry
    • 1/2 tsp Red pepper pods, crushed
    • 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar,
    • 1/4 tsp Sugar,
    • 1/2 tsp Salt,

    Directions

    1. Combine oil, chili pwdr, garlic, oregano and red pepper pods in small fryingpan; cook and stir over medium heat 2 to 3 min. Cold slightly. Add in vinegar and sugar, stirring to combine. Place beef steaks in plastic bag; add in cooled marinade, turning to coat. Close bag securely and marinate in refrigeratoe 30 min or possibly up to 6 hrs. Remove steaks from marinade and place on grid over medium coals. Grill 14 to 20 min for rare to medium, turning once.
    2. Season with salt. Carve into thin slices.
    3. Preparation Time: 7 min. Marinatingtime: 30 min.
    4. Cooking Time: 14 to 20 min.
