Healthy Tuna Casserole
A classic. Ingredients
- 3 cups uncooked noodles
- 2 cans water packed tuna, drained
- 1 can fat free cream of chicken soup
- 2 T light Miracle Whip dressing
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup frozen green peas
- 1/2 cup diced roasted red pepper
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 1 T melted butter
- 1/3 cup whole grain Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 t. pepper
Directions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.
- Meanwhile, mix tuna, soup, Miracle Whip, milk, peas, red pepper and green onion.
- Pour tuna mixture into a medium size, 8x8, baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
- mix butter, breadcrumbs & pepper.
- Sprinkle on top of tuna mixture.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
