  • Ground Beef Gravy with Potatoes

    Not only is it easy, but everyone enjoys it! Sounds like a lot of work, but this recipe whips up in no time!

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb. lean Ground Beef
    • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can Beef Broth, divided
    • 1/4 cup chopped Onion
    • 1/4 cup chopped Green Bell Pepper, chopped
    • 1 1/2 Tbsps. dried Parsley
    • 1 Tbsp. dried Basil
    • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
    • 1 tsp. Seasoned Salt
    • 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
    • 2 Tbsps. Cornstarch
    • Hot Mashed Potatoes or your choice of Hot Cooked Pasta

    Directions

    1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and green bell pepper over medium heat until no longer pink; drain fat.
    2. Add 1 1/2 cups beef broth, parsley, basil, garlic powder, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat to a simmer.
    3. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
    4. In a a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and remaining beef broth until smooth. Stir into the beef mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve immediately over hot mashed potatoes or pasta.
