Grilled Plantains With Spicy Brown Sugar Glaze
Ingredients
- 6 x Very ripe plantains peeled and sliced on the bias 1/8-inch thick
- 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil for brushing
- 4 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Honey
- 1/2 Tbsp. Chipotle puree
- 2 Tbsp. Minced cilantro
Directions
- Prepare grill.
- Brush plantains with extra virgin olive oil and grill for 2 min on both sides.
- Combine all other ingredients in a bowl well. Brush on plantains. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
