Ingredients

  • 6 x Very ripe plantains peeled and sliced on the bias 1/8-inch thick
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil for brushing
  • 4 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Chipotle puree
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced cilantro

Directions

  1. Prepare grill.
  2. Brush plantains with extra virgin olive oil and grill for 2 min on both sides.
  3. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl well. Brush on plantains. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
