Green Bean Salad With Walnut Dressing
Ingredients
- 3 lb Green beans
- 10 x Walnut halves, toasted and minced
- 4 Tbsp. Walnut oil
- 1/2 c. Vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. Red wine vinegar
- 1 x Garlic clove Coarse kosher salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste
Directions
- Blanch the beans in boiling water till just tender, about 3 to 4 min.
- Drain and refrigerateimmediately.
- Mix the remaining ingredients and let stand 1 hour.
- Immediately before serving, toss the beans in the dressing and remove the garlic clove.
- Yield: 12 servings.
