Ginger Shrimp And Perpper Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 sm Red Lobster Cocktail Shrimp Party Platter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. powdered ginger - (to 2 tbspns)
- 1 lrg garlic clove chopped
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. fresh mushroom halves
- 1/2 med red pepper in 1/4" julienne strips
- 1/2 med green pepper in 1/4" julienne strips
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. sherry Salt to taste
- 2 x green onions minced
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with
- 3 Tbsp. water Cooked white rice
Directions
- Remove tails from shrimp, if you like. Sprinkle shrimp with ginger.
- Heat oil in skillet. Add in shrimp and garlic; saute/fry 3 min. Add in peppers and mushrooms. Stir in soy sauce, sugar, salt (if needed) and sherry. Cook 1 minute.
- Stir in green onions. Add in cornstarch with water; stir gently till mix thickens. Serve over rice.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
