German Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 quart potatoes, boiled & cubed
Directions
- Fry bacon until crisp; take out of grease. Pour out all but 3 Tablespoons grease.
- Add onions and sauté for 5 minutes; then add flour and cook a few more minutes.
- Add water, vinegar and sugar. Cook until it’s the consistency of gravy.
- Add the potatoes and bacon.
