Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 quart potatoes, boiled & cubed

Directions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp; take out of grease. Pour out all but 3 Tablespoons grease.
  2. Add onions and sauté for 5 minutes; then add flour and cook a few more minutes.
  3. Add water, vinegar and sugar. Cook until it’s the consistency of gravy.
  4. Add the potatoes and bacon.
