Frozen Ice Cream Cookie Loaf
Ingredients
- crushed oreo cookies
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/3 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup peanuts or brickle or chocolate chips
- 8 oz carton whipped topping or equivalent amount whipped cream
Directions
- Spray a 7X11 freezer-proof dish with cooking spray. Lightly cover bottom of dish with crushed cookie crumbs. Freeze for 10 minutes.
- Spread softened ice cream over crumbs. Drizzle on chocolate syrup and sprinkle on the peanuts. Sprinkle with more cookie crumbs, then spread the whipped topping. Top sparsely with about 1 tblsp cookie crumbs.
- Cover freeze for 2 hours or more. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
