Fried Rice
This is for basic fried rice, it was good and had a delicate flavor. Ingredients
- 2-4 cups day old old white rice
- 1-2 green onions
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper to taste
- 4 tbsp Sesame oil
- 4 cups day old cold rice
- 1-2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Chinese five spice
Directions
- Finely chop the green onion.
- Heat the wok and add 2 tbsps of the oil. When the oil's hot add the eggs and scramble using either chopsticks or a wooden spoon. When the eggs are scrambled lightly but not dry remove them from the wok and set aside.
- Add the remaining 2 tbsps of the oil, once the oil is heated add the rice. Stir-fry the rice for a few minutes using the chopsticks or spoon to break it apart. Stir in the soy sauce.
- When the rice is heated add in the egg and the green onion, salt and pepper. Stir-fry it until it's heated all the way through.
- Serve while hot and enjoy.
