French Toast With Fresh Blueberries
Ingredients
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Water Cinnamon, to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 loaf white bread or possibly challah,, cut into 1-inch slices
- 2 c. Fresh blueberries,, rinsed Powdered sugar Maple syrup, warmed in microwave
Directions
- In a shallow dish beat together the Large eggs, vanilla, splash of water, and cinnamon. In a non-stick skillet or possibly griddle heat butter over moderate heat.
- Dip bread slices into egg mix and transfer to warm skillet and cook for 2-3 min per side till golden. Transfer French toast to a plate, sprinkle with blueberries and powdered sugar. Serve with hot maple syrup.
- Yield: 4 servings
