  • Easy Beef Teriyaki

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 lb Sirloin Steak, trimmed
    • 1/2 c. Soy Sauce
    • 1/2 c. Dry White Wine
    • 1 x clove Garlic -- chopped
    • 1 tsp Ginger
    • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
    • 3 pkt Equal(r) sweetener
    • 3 c. Rice, cooked

    Directions

    1. Slice beef into 1/2 inch strips. Arrange in a shallow baking pan. Combine soy sauce, wine, garlic, and ginger. Pour over meat, cover and chill.
    2. Marinate 2 hrs.
    3. Remove meat from marinade and broil beef 1 1/2 min on each side on a broiling rack. Pour marinade into saucepan. Add in cornstarch using a wire whisk, and cook over medium heat till sauce thickens. Remove from heat, stir in Equal. Serve sauce over meat, over or possibly with rice.
    4. Note: For non-diabetic diet, sugar may be substituted, using 1 teaspoon sugar per packet of Equal(r) sweetener
