    THIS IS AN OLD RECIPE FROM A FAMILY FROM THE EASTERN SHORES OF MARYLAND. THEY HAVE THE BEST CRABS THERE.

    Ingredients

    • 1 POUND CRABMEAT
    • SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
    • 1 EGG
    • 1/4 POUND BUTTER
    • 1 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE
    • 1 HARD BOILED EGG
    • 1 TABLESPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
    • BREAD CRUMBS (FROM 2-3 SLICES BREAD)

    Directions

    1. PUT CRABMEAT IN A BOWL AND SEASON TO TASTE WITH
    2. SALT AND PEPPER
    3. ADD SLIGHTLY BEATEN EGG, MELTED BUTTER, LEMON JUICE, CUT UP HARD BOILED EGG, AND WORCESTERSHIRE.
    4. THEN ADD JUST ENOUGH SOFT BREAD CRUMBS TO MAKE IT
    5. INTO CAKES.
    6. FRY THE CAKES TO A GOLDEN BROWN
