Delicious, Nutritious, Date Granola Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 3 c. rolled oats
- 2 c. dates pitted
- 1 c. flaked or possibly shredded coconut
- 1/2 c. unsalted peanuts
- 1/2 c. wheat germ
- 1/4 c. nonfat dry lowfat milk pwdr
Directions
- In large mixing bowl, combine honey, peanut butter and butter to blend. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Spread proportionately in glreased 10- by 15-inch baking pan. Bake in 300 degree oven 45 to 55 min till toasted and golden brown.
- Stir mix several times during baking. Cold completely.
- Store in air tight container.
- This recipe yields 10 servings.
