Deb's Almond Granola
Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 4 1/2 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
- 1 3/4 c. sliced almonds - (6 ounce)
- 6 Tbsp. honey
- 3/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. raisins
Directions
- Put butter into 9- by 13- by 2-inch baking pan and heat in oven at 350 degrees, about 5 min. Remove from oven and add in rolled oats, coconut and almonds. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
- Return to oven and bake 25 to 30 min, stirring frequently, till almonds are toasted and mix is golden. Remove from oven; stir in raisins. Cold completely, stirring once or possibly twice, and store in airtight container.
- This recipe yields 12 servings.
