Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 1/2 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 3/4 c. sliced almonds - (6 ounce)
  • 6 Tbsp. honey
  • 3/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c. raisins

Directions

  1. Put butter into 9- by 13- by 2-inch baking pan and heat in oven at 350 degrees, about 5 min. Remove from oven and add in rolled oats, coconut and almonds. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
  2. Return to oven and bake 25 to 30 min, stirring frequently, till almonds are toasted and mix is golden. Remove from oven; stir in raisins. Cold completely, stirring once or possibly twice, and store in airtight container.
  3. This recipe yields 12 servings.
