Crispy Chocolate Chippers
Gooseberry Patch - Jenna Fowls Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups crispy rice cereal
- 6-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together
- Set aside
- In a separate large bowl, combine the butter and both of the sugars
- Blend well
- Add the eggs and the vanilla
- Beat well
- Add the flour mixture
- Blend well
- Stir in the cereal and the chocolate chips
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets
- Bake at 350 F for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden
- Cool the cookies on the baking racks for one minute
- Remove from the cookie sheets
- Cool on wire racks
