Creamy Mac And Cheese
Creamy, cheesy and easy! Ingredients
- 2 quart. water
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 12 ounce. cubed Velveeta
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. macaroni
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Boil water in large deep pot with 2 tsp. salt and oil.
- Add in macaroni and cook uncovered after water returns to a full boil, for 10 to 11 min. Drain and rinse.
- In tightly covered container, combine 1 c. lowfat milk and flour.
- Shake until well blended. Pour into medium saucepan with remaining lowfat milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add in cheese cubes to sauce. Continue cooking till cheese is melted.
- Add in salt, pepper and macaroni. Heat through.
