Crab Or Shrimp Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 16 x Extra-large mushrooms
- 1/2 cube of butter
- 1 lb Crab or possibly small salad shrimp
- 1/2 c. Mayonnaise
- 2 x Shallots, chopped and sauteed
- 1 tsp Prepared mustard
Directions
- Remove stem from mushrooms and saute/fry the caps, topside down, in butter for 1 minute. Place in ovenproof dish and set aside. Mix crab or possibly shrimp with mayonnaise, shallots and mustard. Fill mushrooms with equal amounts of this mix. Place in oven for 20 min at 300F degrees. Remove from oven a and cover lightly with mornay sauce.
