Coconut Lemon Crescent Bars
Ingredients
- 8 ounce refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine -- melted
- 2 x Large eggs -- slightly beaten
Directions
- 1. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13"x9" pan.
- Press over bottom and up sides to create crust. Firmly press perforations to create seal. Bake at 375i F for 5 min.
- 2. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine all other ingredients. Pour over partially baked crust. Return to oven and bake an additional 12-17 min till light golden brown. Cold completely before cutting.
