OOH how my family loves this classic dish! Serve with a mixed green salad and garlic toast for a complete Sunday Meal.

    Ingredients

    • 16 ounces Sirloin Ground Beef (90/10 fat to meat ratio)
    • 16 ounces Spaghetti
    • 22 ounces Your favorite tomato/marinara sauce
    • one large egg
    • 1/2 cup Italian Seasoned bread crumbs
    • one teaspoon garlic salt
    • black pepper to taste
    • one teaspoon oregano
    • one teaspoon parsley
    • 1/2 cup grated parmesan + garnish of freshly grated cheese, of your choice

    Directions

    1. Add tomato or marinara sauce into a large lidded pot, on low heat
    2. In a pot of boiling salted water add Spaghetti and cook per package instructions, rinse in a colander, set aside
    3. In a mixing bowl add ground beef, garlic salt, oregano, parsley, grated parmesan, bread crumbs, beaten egg and using clean hands mix well, form bite sized meatballs and place in a skillet to bake @ 400 F for 22 minutes covered. Remove from oven and place on paper towels to absorb any oils, transfer to sauce pot, increase heat to medium and cook together for 6-8 minutes, add drained spaghetti to pot and using tongs mix well
    4. Plate and serve with freshly grated cheese
