It is a good idea to have puff pastry in freezer to make a quick treat for unexpected guests or for sudden cravings. You know it’s very easy and quick to make something savory or sweet with puff pastry. In Turkish cuisine, it’s more typical to use it for boreks with various fillings. You should see my Puff Pastry Pockets filled with cheese and pastirma as a savory treat. I wanted to use it for a dessert this time.

These nutella rolls will be perfect alternatives to your favorite cookies since they are ready within some minutes. You can serve these rolls at breakfast, at afternoon tea parties or as a snack whenever you like. How about munching on a bowl of crispy nutella rolls when watching a game of your team? A great sweet alternative to chips!

If your kids love spreading nutella on bread at breakfast, do try these nutella rolls and surprise them in the morning! I’m sure they will ask for more!

Puff pastry is sold in small squares in Turkish markets , you can see a picture of it in my Puff Pastry Pockets post. And I used 3 pastry squares for this recipe.
