Chocolate Laced Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, Large eggs and salt. Beat together at medium speed.
- Stir in chips and nuts. Pour into crust; cover loosely with foil. Bake for 30 min. Remove foil completely and bake 15 min more to brown pie (put foil back on if pie browns too quickly). Remove from oven and let cold and set for at least one hour.
